Sebastian Nye-Schmitz, Esq., CPA, is an attorney at law licensed in the State of Florida and a Certified Public Accountant based in Naples, Florida. Born in Germany, he moved to Southwest Florida as a child and has called Naples home for over fourteen years. He earned his Bachelor of Science cum laude in Accounting and his Master of Science in Taxation from Florida Gulf Coast University, followed by a Juris Doctor cum laude from Ave Maria School of Law. He is admitted to the United States Tax Court, the U.S. Middle District of Florida, and the Florida Supreme Court. His practice focuses on the intersection of tax law, business and contract law, probate administration, estate planning, and real estate — particularly for German-speaking and international clients with U.S. interests. He is the founder of The Nye-Schmitz Law Firm, P.A. and also co-founded Sandcastle Title, LLC. His father, the late Werner Schmitz, was a Steuerberater who founded SSI Accounting & Tax Service, Inc. in Fort Myers in 1998.
